दुन्दुभीभिर्मृदङ्गैश्च वीणाभि: पणवैस्तथा ।नादितां भृशमत्यर्थं पृथिव्यां तामनुत्तमाम् ।।।।
dundubhībhir mṛdaṅgaiś ca vīṇābhiḥ paṇavais tathā | nāditāṃ bhṛśam atyarthaṃ pṛthivyāṃ tām anuttamām ||
ദുന്ദുഭി, മൃദംഗം, വീണ, പണവം എന്നിവയുടെ നാദത്തോടെ അത് അത്യന്തം ഉച്ചത്തിൽ മുഴങ്ങിക്കൊണ്ടിരുന്നു; ഭൂമിയിൽ ആ നഗരം അനുത്തമം—അപ്രതിമമായിരുന്നു.
