यज्ञोपक्रमः — Commencement of the Aśvamedha Preparations
ब्राह्मणावसथाश्चैव कर्तव्याश्शतशश्शुभा:।भक्ष्यान्नपानैर्बहुभिस्समुपेतास्सुनिष्ठिता:।।1.13.10।।
brāhmaṇāvasathāś caiva kartavyāḥ śataśaḥ śubhāḥ | bhakṣyānnapānaiḥ bahubhiḥ samupetāḥ suniṣṭhitāḥ ||
ബ്രാഹ്മണന്മാർക്കായി നൂറുകണക്കിന് ശുഭമായ വാസസ്ഥലങ്ങൾ ഒരുക്കേണ്ടതാണ്—സുസംവിധാനത്തോടെ ക്രമപ്പെടുത്തി, അനവധി ഭക്ഷ്യങ്ങളും അന്നവും പാനീയങ്ങളും നിറഞ്ഞു സമ്പൂർണ്ണമായി സജ്ജമാക്കി।
