अष्टसप्ततितमः सर्गः — Śatrughna’s Fury and Bharata’s Restraint

एवमुक्त्वा तु तेनाशु सखीजनसमावृता।गृहीता बलवत्कुब्जा सा तद्गृहमनादयत्।।।।
evam uktvā tu tenāśu sakhījana-samāvṛtā | gṛhītā balavat kubjā sā tad gṛham anādayat ||
ഇങ്ങനെ പറഞ്ഞിട്ട് അവൻ ഉടൻ തന്നെ, സഖികളാൽ ചുറ്റപ്പെട്ടിരുന്ന കുബ്ജയെ ബലമായി പിടിച്ചു; അവൾ ആ ഗൃഹം കരുണാർത്ത നിലവിളികളാൽ നിറച്ചു.
