इमानि च महार्हाणि वस्त्राण्याभरणानि च।प्रतिगृह्य विशालक्ष मातुलस्य च दापय।।2.70.4।।
imāni ca mahārhāṇi vastrāṇy ābharaṇāni ca |
pratigṛhya viśālākṣa mātulasya ca dāpaya ||2.70.4||
ഹേ വിശാലനേത്രാ! ഈ അതിമൂല്യ വസ്ത്രങ്ങളും ആഭരണങ്ങളും സ്വീകരിക്ക; കൂടാതെ അവയെ മാതുലനു കൂടി അർപ്പിക്കുവാൻ ഏർപ്പെടുത്തുക.
Then his heart was filled with extreme anxiety due to the haste of the messengers to depart and also due to the dream he had.
Dharma appears as proper honoring of kin and elders through respectful gifting and formal courtesies, sustaining social harmony and gratitude.
As Bharata prepares to leave Kekaya, the messengers instruct him regarding valuable items to be accepted and appropriately presented within his maternal family.
