जनौघैस्तैर्विसर्पद्भिः शुश्रुवे तत्र निस्वनः।पर्वसूदीर्णवेगस्य सागरस्येव निस्वनः।।2.6.27।।
janaughais tair visarpadbhiḥ śuśruve tatra nisvanaḥ |
parvasūdīrṇavegasya sāgarasyeva nisvanaḥ || 2.6.27 ||
അങ്ങനെ ചുറ്റും പടർന്നുനീങ്ങുന്ന ജനപ്രവാഹത്തിൽ നിന്ന് അവിടെ ഒരു മഹാകോലാഹലം കേട്ടു—ചന്ദ്രപർവ്വകാലങ്ങളിൽ വേഗം വർധിക്കുന്ന സമുദ്രത്തിന്റെ ഗർജ്ജനപോലെ.
