अनेकनानामृगपक्षिसङ्कुले विचित्रपत्रस्तबकैर्द्रुमैर्युते।वनोत्तमे व्यालमृगानुनादिते तदा विजह्रु स्सुसुखं जितेन्द्रियाः।।।।

Transliteration

aneka-nānā-mṛga-pakṣi-saṅkule vicitra-patra-stabakair drumair yute |

vanottame vyāla-mṛgānunādite tadā vijahruḥ su-sukhaṃ jitendriyāḥ ||

Translation

അപ്പോൾ ജിതേന്ദ്രിയരും സംയമികളുമായ അവർ ആ ശ്രേഷ്ഠവനത്തിൽ അത്യന്തം സുഖത്തോടെ വിഹരിച്ചു—അനേകംവിധ മൃഗപക്ഷികളാൽ നിറഞ്ഞതും, വർണവൈവിധ്യമുള്ള ഇലക്കുലങ്ങളുള്ള വൃക്ഷങ്ങളാൽ സമൃദ്ധവുമായതും, വന്യമൃഗങ്ങളുടെ നാദം മുഴങ്ങുന്നതുമായ വനം.
