Transliteration

pitaraṃ cānuśocāmi mātaraṃ ca yaśasvinīm | api vāndhau bhavetāṃ tu rudantau tāv abhīkṣṇaśaḥ ||2.46.6||

Translation

ഞാൻ എന്റെ പിതാവിനെയും യശസ്വിനിയായ മാതാവിനെയും കുറിച്ച് ദുഃഖിക്കുന്നു; വീണ്ടും വീണ്ടും കരഞ്ഞാൽ ആ ഇരുവരും കാഴ്ച നഷ്ടപ്പെടുമെന്നതും സാദ്ധ്യം.
