एकोनचत्वारिंशः सर्गः

करिष्ये सर्वमेवाहमार्या यदनुशास्ति माम्।अभिज्ञास्मि यथा भर्तुर्वर्तितव्यं श्रुतं च मे।।2.39.27।।
kariṣye sarvam evāham āryā yad anuśāsti mām |
abhijñā ’smi yathā bhartur vartitavyaṁ śrutaṁ ca me || 2.39.27 ||
ആര്യേ, നിങ്ങൾ എന്നോട് ഉപദേശിക്കുന്നതെല്ലാം ഞാൻ തീർച്ചയായും ചെയ്യും. ഭർത്താവിനോടു എങ്ങനെ പെരുമാറണം എന്നത് എനിക്ക് അറിയാം; മുമ്പേ കേട്ടിട്ടുമുണ്ട്.
I shall do exactly all that the venerable mother-in-law instructs me. I have heard it earlier and have fully understood as to how I should conduct myself towards my husband.
