रामदर्शनार्थं दारानयनम्
The Queens Summoned; Rama’s Leave-Taking and Dasaratha’s Collapse
ततः कमलपत्राक्षः श्यामो निरुपमो महान्।उवाच राम स्तं सूतं पितुराख्याहि मामिति।।।।
tataḥ kamalapatrākṣaḥ śyāmo nirupamo mahān | uvāca rāmas taṃ sūtaṃ pitur ākhyāhi mām iti ||
അപ്പോൾ കമലപത്രനേത്രനും ശ്യാമവർണ്ണനും മഹാനും അനുപമനുമായ ശ്രീരാമൻ ആ സൂതനോടു പറഞ്ഞു: “എന്റെ പിതാവിനോട് എന്റെ വിവരം അറിയിക്കൂ—ഞാൻ വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു എന്ന്.”
Let my father be informed of my arrival, said the lotus-eyed, dark-complexioned, venerable, peerless Rama to the charioteer.
