Transliteration

na khalv ahaṃ na gaccheyaṃ vanaṃ janaka-nandini | vacanaṃ tan nayati māṃ pituḥ satyopabṛṃhitam || 2.30.31 ||

Translation

ഹേ ജനകനന്ദിനീ! ഞാൻ വനത്തിലേക്ക് പോകില്ലെന്നല്ല; സത്യത്താൽ ദൃഢീകരിക്കപ്പെട്ട പിതാവിന്റെ ആജ്ഞ തന്നെയാണ് എന്നെ അവിടേക്ക് നയിക്കുന്നത്.
