सीताया वनगमननिश्चयः

Sita’s Resolve to Accompany Rama to the Forest

एवमुक्ता तु वैदेही प्रियार्हा प्रियवादिनी।प्रणयादेव संक्रुद्धा भर्तारमिदमब्रवीत्।।2.27.1।।

evam uktā tu vaidehī priyārhā priyavādinī |

praṇayād eva saṅkruddhā bhartāram idam abravīt ||

ഇങ്ങനെ പറഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ, സ്നേഹാർഹയും മധുരവാക്യിനിയുമായ വൈദേഹി സീത പ്രണയത്താൽ മാത്രം—പ്രേമം കൊണ്ടുള്ള കോപത്തോടെ—ഭർത്താവിനോട് ഈ വാക്കുകൾ പറഞ്ഞു.
