आनम्य मूर्ध्नि चाघ्राय परिष्वज्य यशस्विनी।अवदत्पुत्र सिद्धार्थो गच्छ राम यथासुखम्।।2.25.40।।
ānamya mūrdhni cāghrāya pariṣvajya yaśasvinī | avadat putra siddhārtho gaccha rāma yathāsukham || 2.25.40 ||
യശസ്വിനിയായ രാജ്ഞി രാമനെ തലകുനിപ്പിച്ച് നെറ്റി മണത്തു, ആലിംഗനം ചെയ്ത് പറഞ്ഞു: “മകനേ, ഹേ രാമാ, സുഖത്തോടെ പോകുക; നിന്റെ ലക്ഷ്യം സിദ്ധിക്കട്ടെ.”
Illustrious Kausalya embraced Rama, bending his head down and smelt his forehead. And then said O Rama! go in peace and come back after accomplishing the objective.
Blessing without possession: love expresses itself as a prayer for the other’s righteous success, even when separation is painful.
In the farewell moment, Kausalyā physically embraces Rāma and offers a final benediction for his exile.
Tenderness joined with renunciation—letting Rāma follow dharma while still offering protection through love and words.
