Proposal for Rāma’s Installation as Heir-Apparent
तं देव देवोपममात्मजं तेसर्वस्य लोकस्य हिते निविष्टम्।हिताय नः क्षिप्रमुदारजुष्टंमुदाऽभषेक्तुं वरद त्वमर्हसि।।2.2.54।।
taṃ deva devopamam ātmajaṃ te sarvasya lokasya hite niviṣṭam | hitāya naḥ kṣipram udārajuṣṭaṃ mudā ’bhiṣektuṃ varada tvam arhasi || 2.2.54 ||
വരദാതാവേ! ദേവോപമനായ നിങ്ങളുടെ പുത്രൻ—സകലലോകഹിതത്തിൽ നിവിഷ്ടനും ഉദാരഗുണങ്ങളിൽ രതനുമായവൻ—ഞങ്ങളുടെ നന്മയ്ക്കായി ആനന്ദത്തോടെ വൈകാതെ യുവരാജനായി അഭിഷേകം ചെയ്യപ്പെടേണ്ടതിന്നു നിങ്ങൾ യോഗ്യനാകുന്നു.
