Kaikeyi’s Demand and the Noose of the King’s Promise
सुमन्त्रश्चिन्तयामास त्वरितं चोदितस्तया।।।।व्यक्तं रामोऽभिषेकार्थमिहायास्यति धर्मवित्।
sumantraś cintayāmāsa tvaritaṃ coditas tayā | vyaktaṃ rāmo ’bhiṣekārtham ihāyāsyati dharmavit ||
അവൾ വേഗത്തിൽ പ്രേരിപ്പിച്ചതിനാൽ സുമന്ത്രൻ ചിന്തിച്ചു: ‘ധർമ്മജ്ഞനായ രാമൻ അഭിഷേകാർത്ഥം തീർച്ചയായും ഇവിടെ വരും.’
Urged by Kaikeyi, Sumantra thought 'Righteous Rama will definitely come here for the purpose of installation'.
