बलं च तदनाहूतं गजाश्वरथसङ्कुलम्।प्रययौ भरते याते सर्वे च पुरवासिनः।।।।

balaṃ ca tad anāhūtaṃ gajāśvarathasaṅkulam | prayayau bharate yāte sarve ca puravāsinaḥ || 2.115.11 ||

ഭരതൻ പുറപ്പെട്ടപ്പോൾ, വിളിക്കാതെയിരുന്നിട്ടും ആനകളും കുതിരകളും രഥങ്ങളും നിറഞ്ഞ സൈന്യവും പുറപ്പെട്ടു; നഗരത്തിലെ എല്ലാ പൗരന്മാരും കൂടെ നീങ്ങി.
