Transliteration

ayodhyāṃ ca tato dṛṣṭvā pitrā bhrātrā vivarjitām | bharato duḥkhasantaptaḥ sārathiṃ cedam abravīt ||

Translation

പിന്നീട് പിതാവിനെയും സഹോദരന്മാരെയും വിട്ടൊഴിഞ്ഞ അയോധ്യയെ കണ്ടപ്പോൾ, ദുഃഖത്തിൽ ദഹിച്ച ഭരതൻ സാരഥിയോട് ഇങ്ങനെ പറഞ്ഞു.
