ज्ञातयश्च हि योधाश्च मित्राणि सुहृदश्च नः।त्वामेव प्रतिवीक्षन्ते पर्जन्यमिव कर्षकाः।।2.112.12।।

jñātayaś ca hi yodhāś ca mitrāṇi suhṛdaś ca naḥ | tvām eva prativīkṣante parjanyam iva karṣakāḥ || 2.112.12 ||

ഞങ്ങളുടെ ബന്ധുക്കളും യോദ്ധാക്കളും സുഹൃത്തുക്കളും സ്നേഹിതരും നിനക്കേ നോക്കുന്നു—കർഷകർ മഴമേഘത്തെ കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ.
