Vision of Lake Pampā and the Turn toward Sugrīva

इत्येवमुक्त्वा मदनाभिपीडितः स लक्ष्मणं वाक्यमनन्यचेतसम्।विवेश पम्पां नलिनीं मनोरमां रघूत्तमश्शोकविषादयन्त्रितः।।3.75.29।।

ity evam uktvā madanābhipīḍitaḥ sa lakṣmaṇaṃ vākyam ananya-cetasam | viveśa pampāṃ nalinīṃ manoramāṃ raghūttamaḥ śoka-viṣāda-yantritaḥ || 3.75.29 ||

ഇങ്ങനെ മറ്റൊന്നിലേക്കു മനസ്സു തിരിയാത്ത ലക്ഷ്മണനോടു വാക്കുകൾ പറഞ്ഞ ശേഷം, മദനപീഡിതനായി ശോകവിഷാദം കൊണ്ട് അമർന്നു നിന്ന രഘൂത്തമനായ രാമൻ, താമരകൾ നിറഞ്ഞ മനോഹരമായ പമ്പയിൽ പ്രവേശിച്ചു.
