पम्पा-ऋष्यमूक-मार्गोपदेशः
Guidance to Pampa and Rishyamuka; counsel to befriend Sugriva
न तानि कश्चिन्माल्यानि तत्रारोपयिता नरः।न च वै म्लानतां यान्ति न च शीर्यन्ति राघव।।3.73.22।।
na tāni kaścin mālyāni tatrāropayitā naraḥ |
na ca vai mlānatāṁ yānti na ca śīryanti rāghava || 3.73.22 ||
ഹേ രാഘവാ, അവിടെ ആ മാലകൾ ധരിക്കാൻ ഒരാളുമില്ല; എങ്കിലും അവ മ്ലാനമാകുന്നില്ല, ഉണങ്ങി ചിതറിപ്പോകുന്നതുമില്ല.
There is no one to wear those flowers. Those garlands do not wilt or wither O Rama!

Lakṣmaṇa remarks on a marvel near Pampā: garlands exist without human use and yet remain unwithered.
