व्यतिक्रम्य तु वेगेन व्यालसिंहनिषेवितम्।सुभीमं तन्महारण्यं व्यतियातौ महाबलौ।।।।

vyatikramya tu vegena vyālasiṃhaniṣevitam |

subhīmaṃ tanmahāraṇyaṃ vyatiyātau mahābalau ||

Translation

ആ മഹാബലന്മാരായ രണ്ടു സഹോദരന്മാർ വേഗത്തിൽ മുന്നേറി; സർപ്പങ്ങളും സിംഹങ്ങളും വസിക്കുന്ന അതിഭീകരമായ ആ മഹാവനം താണ്ടിക്കൊണ്ടു പോയി.
