Lakshmana’s Counsel to the Enraged Rama

सदा त्वं सर्वभूतानां शरण्यः परमा गतिः।।।।को नु दारप्रणाशं ते साधु मन्येत राघव।

sadā tvaṃ sarvabhūtānāṃ śaraṇyaḥ paramā gatiḥ |

ko nu dāra-praṇāśaṃ te sādhu manyeta rāghava ||

നീ എപ്പോഴും സർവ്വഭൂതങ്ങൾക്കും ശരണം, പരമഗതി തന്നെയാകുന്നു. ഹേ രാഘവ, നിന്റെ ഭാര്യയുടെ നഷ്ടം ന്യായമാണെന്ന് ആരാണ് സദാചാരിയായി കരുതുക?
