Seeing showers of flowers fallen on the ground, valiant Rama sadly said these words to sorrowful Lakshmana:
Dharma includes truthful expression of grief without abandoning duty: Rāma’s sorrow is acknowledged openly, yet it becomes part of the search rather than an excuse to stop.
The fallen flowers move Rāma deeply, prompting him to speak to Lakṣmaṇa about what the clue may signify.
Emotional sincerity joined to steadfast responsibility.
