सीतावियोगे रामविलापः
Rama’s Lament in Separation from Sita
तां हारपाशस्य सदोचिताया ग्रीवां प्रियाया मम सुव्रतायाः।रक्षांसि नूनं परिपीतवन्ति विभिद्य शून्ये रुधिराशनानि।।।।
tāṁ hārapāśasya sadocitāyā grīvāṁ priyāyā mama suvratāyāḥ |
rakṣāṁsi nūnaṁ paripītavanti vibhidya śūnye rudhirāśanāni ||
ഹാരബന്ധത്തിന് എപ്പോഴും യോജിച്ചിരുന്ന എന്റെ പ്രിയ, സുവ്രതയായ അവളുടെ കഴുത്ത്—രക്തഭോജികളായ രാക്ഷസർ ഏതോ ഏകാന്തസ്ഥാനത്ത് പൊട്ടിച്ചു, അവളുടെ രക്തം കുടിച്ചിരിക്കണം.
