सीतान्वेषणारम्भः

The Search for Sita Begins

सन्तप्तो ह्यवसन्नाङ्गो गतबुद्धिर्विचेतनः।निषसादातुरो दीनो निश्श्वस्याशीतमायतम्।।।।

santapto hy avasannāṅgo gatabuddhir vicetanaḥ |

niṣasādāturo dīno niśśvasyāśītam āyatam ||

വ്യഥയുടെ തീയിൽ ദഗ്ധനായി, അവയവങ്ങൾ ക്ഷീണിച്ച്, ബുദ്ധി മങ്ങിയും ചൈതന്യം അസ്ഥിരവുമായി; ആർത്തനും ദീനനും ആയ അവൻ ഇരുന്നുവീണു, ദീർഘമായ ദഹിപ്പിക്കുന്ന നിശ്വാസങ്ങൾ വിട്ടു.
