मारीचवधोत्तरं रामस्य शङ्का-निमित्त-दर्शनं लक्ष्मण-निग्रहश्च

तानि दृष्ट्वा निमित्तानि महाघोराणि राघवः।न्यवर्तताथ त्वरितो जवेनाश्रममात्मनः।।।।
tāni dṛṣṭvā nimittāni mahāghorāṇi rāghavaḥ |
nyavartatātha tvarito javena āśramam ātmanaḥ ||
അത്യന്തം ഭയാനകമായ ആ അപശകുനങ്ങൾ കണ്ട രാഘവൻ ഉടൻ തിരിഞ്ഞു; വേഗത്തോടെ തന്റെ ആശ്രമത്തിലേക്ക് പാഞ്ഞുചെന്നു.
