bhayaśoka-samāviṣṭā karuṇaṃ vilalāpa ha |

Translation

രാവണന്റെ അങ്കത്തിൽ തടവിലായ വൈദേഹി, ഭയവും ശോകവും കൊണ്ട് ആവിഷ്ടയായി, ചിലപ്പോൾ കടുപ്പവും ചിലപ്പോൾ അപേക്ഷാഭാവവും കലർന്ന വാക്കുകൾ ഉച്ചരിച്ച്, കരുണയായി വിലപിച്ചു.
