सीतारावणसंवादः

Ravana Reveals Himself; Sita Affirms Rama’s Dharma

इतीव तद्वाक्यमदुष्टभावा सुदुष्टमुक्त्वा रजनीचरं तम्।गात्रप्रकम्पाद्व्यथिता बभूव वातोद्धता सा कदलीव तन्वी।।3.47.49।।

itīva tad-vākyam aduṣṭa-bhāvā suduṣṭam uktvā rajanīcaraṃ tam | gātra-prakampād vyathitā babhūva vātoddhatā sā kadalīva tanvī || 3.47.49 ||

ഇങ്ങനെ നിർമലഹൃദയയായ സീത ആ ദുഷ്ടനായ രാത്രിചരനോടു കടുത്ത വാക്കുകൾ പറഞ്ഞു; പിന്നെ അവളുടെ അവയവങ്ങൾ വിറച്ചതുകൊണ്ട് വ്യഥിതയായി, കാറ്റിൽ കുലുങ്ങുന്ന നേർത്ത വാഴത്തൈപോലെ അവൾ നടുങ്ങി.
