सीतया लक्ष्मणप्रेषणम् — Sita urges Lakshmana to seek Rama
The crisis of the ‘distressed voice’
tatas tu sītām abhivādya lakṣmaṇaḥ kṛtāñjaliḥ kiñcid abhipraṇamya ca | anvīkṣamāṇo bahuśaś ca maithilīṁ jagāma rāmasya samīpam ātmavān ||
അപ്പോൾ ആത്മസംയമിയായ ലക്ഷ്മണൻ കൈകൂപ്പി സീതയെ വന്ദിച്ച് അനുവാദം വാങ്ങി; മിഥിലാരാജകുമാരിയെ വീണ്ടും വീണ്ടും തിരിഞ്ഞുനോക്കി, അവൻ രാമന്റെ അടുക്കലേക്ക് പോയി.
