तदेव रामेण निशम्य भाषितं कृता मतिस्तस्य बिलप्रवेशने।बिलं च रामेणातिबलेन रक्षसा प्रवेश्यमानेन वनं विनादितम्।।।।
Transliteration
tad eva rāmeṇa niśamya bhāṣitaṃ kṛtā matis tasya bila-praveśane | bilaṃ ca rāmeṇātibalena rakṣasā praveśyamānena vanaṃ vināditam ||
Translation
ആ വാക്കുകൾ കേട്ട രാമൻ അവനെ കുഴിയിലേക്കു തള്ളിവിടാൻ തീരുമാനിച്ചു; അത്യന്തം ബലവാനായ ആ രാക്ഷസനെ രാമൻ ബലമായി കുഴിയിലേക്കു കയറ്റുമ്പോൾ, അവന്റെ നിലവിളികളാൽ വനമൊട്ടാകെ മുഴങ്ങി।
