एवमस्मि तदा मुक्तः कथञ्चित्तेन संयुगे।इदानीमपि यद्वृत्तं तच्छृणुष्व निरुत्तरम्।।।।
evam asmi tadā muktaḥ kathañcit tena saṅyuge | idānīm api yad vṛttaṁ tac chṛṇuṣva niruttaram ||
അങ്ങനെ ആ യുദ്ധത്തിൽ അവൻ എങ്ങനെയോ എന്നെ രക്ഷപ്പെടുത്തി വിട്ടു; ഇപ്പോഴും അടുത്തിടെ സംഭവിച്ചതെല്ലാം ഇടവിടാതെ, നിശ്ശബ്ദമായി കേൾക്കുക.
