अष्टत्रिंशः सर्गः — मारीचोपदेशः

निवार्यमाणस्सुहृदा मया भृशं प्रसह्य सीतां यदि धर्षयिष्यसि।गमिष्यसि क्षीणबलस्सबान्धवो यमक्षयं रामशरात्तजीवितः।।3.38.33।।
nivāryamāṇaḥ suhṛdā mayā bhṛśaṃ prasahya sītāṃ yadi dharṣayiṣyasi | gamiṣyasi kṣīṇabalaḥ sabāndhavo yamakṣayaṃ rāmaśarāt tajīvitaḥ || 3.38.33 ||
ഞാൻ നിന്റെ സുഹൃത്ത്ഭാവത്തോടെ നിന്നെ ശക്തമായി തടയുന്നുണ്ടെങ്കിലും, നീ ബലപ്രയോഗത്തോടെ സീതയെ അപമാനിക്കുകയാണെങ്കിൽ, രാമന്റെ അമ്പുകൾ നിന്റെ ജീവൻ കവർന്നെടുക്കും; ബലം ക്ഷയിച്ച് ബന്ധുക്കളോടുകൂടെ നീ യമധാമത്തിലേക്ക് പോകും.
If you wish to enjoy your beautiful wives and your good friends for long, do not create enmity with Rama.
