Golden Deer Stratagem

पित्रा निरस्तः क्रुद्धेन सभार्यः क्षीणजीवितः।स हन्ता तस्य सैन्यस्य रामः क्षत्रियपांसनः।।।।

pitrā nirastaḥ kruddhena sa-bhāryaḥ kṣīṇa-jīvitaḥ | sa hantā tasya sainyasya rāmaḥ kṣatriya-pāṁsanaḥ || 3.36.10 ||

ക്രുദ്ധനായ പിതാവാൽ നിരസ്തനായി, ഭാര്യയോടുകൂടെ വനവാസത്തിലേക്ക് അയക്കപ്പെട്ട, അല്പായുസ്സുകാരനെന്നു (നിന്ദിച്ചു) പറയപ്പെടുന്നവൻ; എങ്കിലും ആ രാമൻ തന്നെയാണ് ആ രാക്ഷസസൈന്യത്തിന്റെ സംഹാരകനായത്—ക്ഷത്രിയകുലത്തിന് കളങ്കമെന്നു അവനെ വിളിക്കുന്നു.
