Akampana Reports Janasthana; Ravana Plans Sita’s Abduction
अथैवमुक्त्वा प्रययौ खरयुक्तेन रावणः।रथेनादित्यवर्णेन दिशस्सर्वाः प्रकाशयन्।।3.31.34।।
athaivam uktvā prayayau khara-yuktena rāvaṇaḥ |
rathenāditya-varṇena diśaḥ sarvāḥ prakāśayan || 3.31.34 ||
ഇങ്ങനെ പറഞ്ഞിട്ട്, കഴുതകൾ കെട്ടിയ, സൂര്യവർണ്ണ തേജസ്സുള്ള രഥത്തിൽ കയറി രാവണൻ പുറപ്പെട്ടു; പോകുമ്പോൾ എല്ലാ ദിക്കുകളെയും പ്രകാശിപ്പിച്ചു.
Having said so, Ravana got on a chariot yoked with donkeys. It had the colour of the Sun. It illuminated all directions. Ravana left.
