जातस्वेदस्ततो रामो रोषाद्रक्तान्तलोचनः।निर्भिभेद सहस्रेण बाणानां समरे खरम्।।।।
jātasvedas tato rāmo roṣād raktāntalocanaḥ | nirbhibheda sahasreṇa bāṇānāṃ samarē kharam ||
അപ്പോൾ ക്രോധത്താൽ കണ്ണുകളുടെ കോണുകൾ ചുവന്നും വിയർപ്പിൽ നനഞ്ഞും നിന്ന ശ്രീരാമൻ യുദ്ധത്തിൽ ആയിരം അമ്പുകളാൽ ഖരനെ തുളച്ചുകീറി.
