दूषणवधः
The Slaying of Dūṣaṇa and the Rout of Khara’s Host
ततो रामस्सुसङ्कृद्धः क्षुरेणास्य महद्धनुः।।।।चिच्छेद समरे वीरश्चतुर्भिश्चतुरो हयान्।
tato rāmaḥ susaṅkruddhaḥ kṣureṇāsya mahad dhanuḥ | ciccheda samare vīraś caturbhiś caturaḥ hayān ||
പിന്നീട് അത്യന്തം ക്രുദ്ധനായ രാമൻ യുദ്ധത്തിൽ ക്ഷുരബാണംകൊണ്ട് ദൂഷണന്റെ മഹാധനുസ്സിനെ മുറിച്ചുതള്ളി; പിന്നെ നാല് അമ്പുകളാൽ വീരൻ അവന്റെ നാല് കുതിരകളെയും വീഴ്ത്തി.
Heroic Rama, mighty angry, then, broke the big bow of Dusana, with his sword-like arrow. And with a series of four arrows cut his four horses to pieces.
