उत्पातदर्शनं खरसैन्यसमागमश्च

रक्षसां नर्दतां घोरश्श्रूयते च महाध्वनिः।आहतानां च भेरीणां राक्षसैः क्रूरकर्मभिः।।।।

Transliteration

rakṣasāṃ nardatāṃ ghoraḥ śrūyate ca mahādhvaniḥ | āhatānāṃ ca bherīṇāṃ rākṣasaiḥ krūra-karmabhiḥ ||

Translation

രാക്ഷസന്മാരുടെ ഭയങ്കര ഗർജ്ജനയുടെ മഹാധ്വനി കേട്ടു; ക്രൂരകർമ്മികളായ രാക്ഷസർ അടിച്ച ഭേരികളുടെ ഗംഭീര നാദവും മുഴങ്ങി.
