महोत्पात-लक्षणानि

Omens before Khara’s Assault

सास्रा सम्पद्यते दृष्टिः पश्यमानस्य सर्वतः।।।।ललाटे च रुजा जाता न च मोहान्यवर्तत।

sāsrā sampadyatē dṛṣṭiḥ paśyamānasya sarvataḥ | lalāṭē ca rujā jātā na ca mōhān nyavartata ||

എല്ലാ ദിക്കുകളിലേക്കും നോക്കിക്കൊണ്ടിരിക്കെ അവന്റെ ദൃഷ്ടി കണ്ണീരാൽ നിറഞ്ഞു; നെറ്റിയിൽ വേദനയും ഉദിച്ചു; എങ്കിലും മോഹവശാൽ അവൻ തിരിഞ്ഞുമാറിയില്ല.
