खरस्य क्रोधः — शूर्पणखावृत्तान्तकथनम्

Khara’s Wrath and Śūrpaṇakhā’s Report

तरुणी रूपसम्पन्ना सर्वाभरणभूषिता।दृष्टा तत्र मया नारी तयोर्मध्ये सुमध्यमा।।।।

taruṇī rūpasampannā sarvābharaṇa-bhūṣitā | dṛṣṭā tatra mayā nārī tayor madhye su-madhyamā ||

അവിടെ ഞാൻ ആ രണ്ടുപേരുടെ മദ്ധ്യേ ഒരു യുവതിയെ കണ്ടു—രൂപസമ്പന്നയായി, എല്ലാ ആഭരണങ്ങളാലും അലങ്കരിക്കപ്പെട്ടവളായി, സുന്ദരമായ സ്ലിം അരക്കെട്ടുള്ളവളായി.
