अगस्त्याश्रमप्रवेशः तथा दिव्यायुधप्रदानम्
Entry into Agastya’s Hermitage and the Gift of Divine Weapons
एवमुक्त्वा फलैर्मूलैः पुष्पैरन्यैश्च राघवम्।। ।।पूजयित्वा यथाकामं पुनरेव ततोऽब्रवीत्।
evam uktvā phalair mūlaiḥ puṣpair anyaiś ca rāghavam | pūjayitvā yathākāmaṃ punar eva tato 'bravīt ||
ഇങ്ങനെ പറഞ്ഞ ശേഷം, ഫലങ്ങളും മൂലങ്ങളും പുഷ്പങ്ങളും മറ്റു നിവേദ്യങ്ങളും കൊണ്ടു രാഘവനെ ഇഷ്ടപ്രകാരം പൂജിച്ചു; പിന്നെ വീണ്ടും അവനെ അഭിസംബോധന ചെയ്തു.
O! best among men ! this divine bow studded with gold and gems belongs to Visnu and designed by Visvakarma. This excellent, unfailing arrow, bright like the Sun, was given to me by Brahma.
Atithi-satkāra (honoring guests): dharma is practiced through concrete acts of care—offering what is available in the forest with sincerity.
Agastya completes the formal reception of Rāma with offerings and then continues speaking, leading into the gifting of divine weapons.
