इति यतिनियमानामेतदुक्तं विधानं सुरवरपरितोषे यद्भवेदेकहेतुः । न भवति पुनरेषामुद्भवो वा विनाशः प्रतिहितमनसो ये नित्यमेवाचरंति

ഇങ്ങനെ യതികളുടെ നിയമങ്ങളുടെ ഈ വിധാനം പ്രസ്താവിച്ചു—ദേവശ്രേഷ്ഠനെ പ്രസാദിപ്പിക്കുക എന്നതുതന്നെ ഇതിന്റെ ഏക ലക്ഷ്യം. മനസ്സ് സ്ഥിരമായി നിർത്തി നിത്യമായി ഇത് ആചരിക്കുന്നവർക്ക് വീണ്ടും ബന്ധനോദയം ഉണ്ടാകുകയില്ല; ലഭിച്ച ആത്മസിദ്ധിയുടെ നാശവും ഉണ്ടാകുകയില്ല।
