अस्नायी नरकं भुंक्ते पुंस्कीटादिषु जायते । ये पुनः स्रोतसि स्नानमाचरंतीह पर्वणि

asnāyī narakaṃ bhuṃkte puṃskīṭādiṣu jāyate | ye punaḥ srotasi snānamācaraṃtīha parvaṇi

സ്നാനം ചെയ്യാത്തവൻ നരകദുഃഖം അനുഭവിക്കുകയും പുരുഷ കീടാദി യോനികളിൽ ജനിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും. എന്നാൽ പർവ്വദിനങ്ങളിൽ ഒഴുകുന്ന നദിയിൽ സ്നാനം ആചരിക്കുന്നവർ അഭിഷ്ട പുണ്യം പ്രാപിക്കുന്നു.
