Genealogy of the Ancestors (Pitṛs) and the Procedure of Śrāddha

स्वगृह्योक्तेन विधिना काले कृत्वा समंततः । अग्नीषोममयाभ्यां तु कुर्यादाप्यायनं बुधः

svagṛhyoktena vidhinā kāle kṛtvā samaṃtataḥ | agnīṣomamayābhyāṃ tu kuryādāpyāyanaṃ budhaḥ

സ്വഗൃഹ്യസൂത്രത്തിൽ പറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്ന വിധിപ്രകാരം യഥാകാലം ചുറ്റുമെല്ലാം കർമ്മം നിർവഹിച്ചു, തുടർന്ന് ജ്ഞാനി അഗ്നി-സോമമയമായ ആഹുതികളാൽ ‘ആപ്യായന’ (പുനഃപോഷണം) കർമ്മം നടത്തണം।
