The Arkāṅga Saptamī (Bhāskara Saptamī) Vow: Origin of Sūrya, Pacification of Rays, and Māgha Saptamī Observance

विप्राय दक्षिणां दद्याद्विभज्य चानुरूपतः । इमामनंतफलदां यः कुर्यात्सप्तमीं नरः

viprāya dakṣiṇāṃ dadyādvibhajya cānurūpataḥ | imāmanaṃtaphaladāṃ yaḥ kuryātsaptamīṃ naraḥ

വിപ്രന് ദക്ഷിണ നൽകണം; സ്വന്തം ശേഷിയനുസരിച്ച് യുക്തമായി വിഭജിച്ച് സമർപ്പിക്കണം. ഈ അനന്തഫലദായിനിയായ സപ്തമീ വ്രതം ചെയ്യുന്നവൻ അക്ഷയപുണ്യം പ്രാപിക്കുന്നു.
