देवा ऊचुः । नताः स्म विष्णुं जगदादिभूतं सुरासुरेंद्रं जगतां प्रपालकम् । यन्नाभिपद्मात्किल पद्मयोनिर्बभूव तं वै शरणं गताः स्मः

devā ūcuḥ | natāḥ sma viṣṇuṃ jagadādibhūtaṃ surāsureṃdraṃ jagatāṃ prapālakam | yannābhipadmātkila padmayonirbabhūva taṃ vai śaraṇaṃ gatāḥ smaḥ

ദേവന്മാർ പറഞ്ഞു—ജഗത്തിന്റെ ആദിമൂലമായ, സുരാസുരേന്ദ്രനായ, ലോകങ്ങളെ പരിപാലിക്കുന്ന വിഷ്ണുവിനെ ഞങ്ങൾ നമസ്കരിക്കുന്നു; അവന്റെ നാഭികമലത്തിൽ നിന്നാണ് പദ്മയോനി ബ്രഹ്മാവ് ജനിച്ചത്—അവനെയേ ഞങ്ങൾ ശരണം പ്രാപിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
