स दैत्यं शक्तिपातेन पातयामास वै रणे । चिरात्संज्ञां समालंब्य वह्निबाणेन केशवम्

അവൻ യുദ്ധത്തിൽ ശക്തിപാതത്തോടെ ആ ദൈത്യനെ നിലംപതിപ്പിച്ചു. ഏറെ കഴിഞ്ഞ് ബോധം വീണ്ടെടുത്ത ശേഷം അഗ്നിബാണംകൊണ്ട് കേശവനെ ആക്രമിച്ചു॥
