सगजः स पपातोर्व्यां गतासुर्लोहितं वमन् । शशंसुर्मुनयो देवास्साधुसाध्विति चाब्रुवत्

sagajaḥ sa papātorvyāṃ gatāsurlohitaṃ vaman | śaśaṃsurmunayo devāssādhusādhviti cābruvat

ആനയോടുകൂടി അവൻ ഭൂമിയിൽ വീണു; പ്രാണൻ വിട്ടു, രക്തം ഛർദ്ദിച്ചു. മുനിമാർ ആ കൃത്യം പ്രശംസിച്ചു; ദേവന്മാരും “സാധു! സാധു!” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു।
