गतेंतरे चाक्षुषनामधेये वैवस्वताख्ये च पुनः प्रवृत्ते । प्रजापतिः सोस्य चराचरस्य बभूव सूर्यान्वयजः सचिह्नः

gateṃtare cākṣuṣanāmadheye vaivasvatākhye ca punaḥ pravṛtte | prajāpatiḥ sosya carācarasya babhūva sūryānvayajaḥ sacihnaḥ

‘ചാക്ഷുഷ’ എന്ന അന്തരകാലം കഴിഞ്ഞ് ആ മന്വന്തരവും അവസാനിച്ച് വീണ്ടും വൈവസ്വത മന്വന്തരം ആരംഭിച്ചപ്പോൾ, സൂര്യവംശജനായി ലക്ഷണചിഹ്നങ്ങളാൽ വിശിഷ്ടനായ ഒരാൾ സമസ്ത ചരാചര സൃഷ്ടിയുടെ പ്രജാപതിയായി ഉദിച്ചു.
