कृतोपवासो गणपं पूजयेद्यो नरो मुदा । सर्वपापविनिर्मुक्तः सुरलोके महीयते

kṛtopavāso gaṇapaṃ pūjayedyo naro mudā | sarvapāpavinirmuktaḥ suraloke mahīyate

ഉപവാസം അനുഷ്ഠിച്ച് ആനന്ദത്തോടെ ഗണപതിയെ പൂജിക്കുന്ന മനുഷ്യൻ സർവ്വപാപങ്ങളിൽ നിന്ന് വിമുക്തനായി ദേവലോകത്തിൽ മഹിമപ്പെടുന്നു.
