The Hymn to Gaṇapati

तत एव मुदायुक्तः पित्रोरेवाग्रत स्थितः । पुरतश्च तथा स्कंदो मे देहीति ब्रुवन्स्थितः

tata eva mudāyuktaḥ pitrorevāgrata sthitaḥ | purataśca tathā skaṃdo me dehīti bruvansthitaḥ

അപ്പോൾ തന്നെ ആനന്ദത്തോടെ നിറഞ്ഞ് അവൻ മാതാപിതാക്കളുടെ മുമ്പിൽ നിന്നു. സ്കന്ദനും മുന്നിൽ നിന്നുകൊണ്ട് “ഇവനെ എനിക്ക് തരിക” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
