Praise of the Merits of Sacred Ponds, Tree-Planting, and Water-Charities

अश्वत्थादीन्समारोप्य स्वर्गं याति मनोरमम् । अर्चयित्वा तु यत्पुण्यं प्रवक्ष्यामि द्विजातयः

aśvatthādīnsamāropya svargaṃ yāti manoramam | arcayitvā tu yatpuṇyaṃ pravakṣyāmi dvijātayaḥ

അശ്വത്ഥാദി വൃക്ഷങ്ങൾ നട്ടാൽ മനുഷ്യൻ മനോഹരമായ സ്വർഗ്ഗത്തിലേക്ക് പോകുന്നു. ഹേ ദ്വിജന്മാരേ, ആരാധനയിൽ നിന്നുണ്ടാകുന്ന പുണ്യം ഞാൻ ഇപ്പോൾ പ്രസ്താവിക്കുന്നു।
